Typical barrier configurations
These are a few of the ways that Safety Barriers can be mounted on to the vertical posts. These layouts will provide a solution to the needs of most situations. Should you, however, have a problem that cannot be overcome by using a standard layout, then Cenpart can manufacture individually designed posts to satisfy your conditions.
Examples of Armco Safety Barrier applications
Single row bolt down Armco – with pedestrian friendly ends
For fixing down to preexisting concrete surfaces with anchor bolts
Single row cast in Armco – with fishtail ends
Normally for installations in unmade ground, but existing concrete or tarmac can be cored out to accept these type of posts.
Socket sleeves can be used making the posts easily replaceable if damaged, or if a section may need to be removed for access.
Double row Armco – with extra beam above standard height
Shown as double row but triple row is also available, as you might see on a racetrack.
Double row Armco – with extra beam below standard height
The lower beam can be set flush to the bottom of the post, giving good protection from forklift trucks
